What’s the “Maverick Made Marketplace”?

As part of Mayfield Secondary School’s 50th anniversary, the Business Department is coordinating a marketplace for Mayfield’s current/alumni entrepreneurs to sell and promote their products to all current and returning students/teachers/administrators. Throughout the day we are  expecting  up to 2000 students, graduates, and former staff/administrators to pass through our market during  the day of planned events. We will be providing a table, 2 feet by 5 feet, however, it is required for you to bring your own table coverings, baskets, shelves, chalkboards, mannequins, etc. The price point is important but the quality, quantity, and variety are more so! We also ask that along with the vendor’s commitment fee of $20 ( to cover material costs of marketing and promotion) that your business provides a gift(s) of approximately $50 retail for the MSS 50th Golf Tournament.

Setup: 9 am on Saturday, May, 23rd, 2020
Please be ready for sales at 10 am sharp on the day of.

Location: Mayfield Secondary School, across from the guidance office.

 

What if I own a service business? 

Not to worry! We are also arranging a service board to feature all Mayfield Alumni service businesses! Email in your business flyer and we will place it on the board during the marketplace operations. We request a $10 placement fee to display your flyer, however, we do not request a contribution to the MSS golf tournament. The flyer will be printed as a  5” by 7” graphic and ideally should have a QR code to link those interested to your important information.

Wifi will be made available to all vendors during the celebration. You may choose to use online methods of payment or cash.
